Video Services Questions

Q.
How long will it take to make my video?

A.
Typically 1-2 weeks, depending on the production schedule. Christmas time is our busiest season. If you are considering a Red Thread Christmas gift, please make arrangements early so we can hold a spot for you in our production schedule.

Q.
Do you have any song suggestions?

A.
Pick songs that have personal meaning. The songs we chose for our video were songs we had already liked but then they took on a whole new meaning to us when we decided to adopt. They suddenly started reminding us of a daughter we didn't have yet. Choose songs that remind you of your child. We can make it work with your video.

Q.
Do you accept orders outside the US?

A.
Yes, we do. We have worked with clients in Europe, Canada, and Asia. We have the knowledge and system requirements to edit in PAL (Standard European Format)

Q.
Do you create DVD's for adoptions from countries other than China?

A.
Yes, we can and do work with families who have adopted from any country. We take the time to familiarize ourselves with the process for that country so we can create the best story possible.

Q.
Can you do other editing for us besides adoption videos?

A.
Yes, we can. Please see our other site: Attic Box Stories

Website Questions

Q.
Why do you have an "Editing 101" section?

A.
Because some people simply cannot afford video services or just prefer doing it themselves. Our Editing 101 isn't a step-by-step manual. It's an overview so people who are interested have a place to begin and can start asking the right questions.

Q.
Doesn't your "Editing 101" detract from your business?

A.
No. Good editing like good cooking takes practice and experience. I love good pesto and I have several excellent recipes. However, just because I have a recipe for pesto doesn't mean my cooking will taste better than a professional chefs!
